Overview

The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that, as the global leader in the field of functional medicine, offers exemplary education and certification. IFM has Accreditation with Commendation awarded by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). IFM partners with diverse entities across the healthcare industry to support the widespread adoption of functional medicine. 

Membership criteria:* 

  • Must be a defined entity (association, business, institute, organization, etc.).
  • Must have a documented mission and organizational goals that align with those of IFM.
  • Must comply with all terms and conditions associated with IFM membership. 


*IFM reserves the right to deny membership based on internal vetting processes.

Pricing

The cost of the Interprofessional Organization Membership is $2,000/year for up to 200 unique users. Access for additional unique users may be purchased in increments of $1,000 per group of 100 users.

AMS offers IFM members 15% off premiums and supports functional medicine clinical practice by advising on the use of consent and protocols, identifying high risk processes, and sharing advancements that increase safety and mitigate unnecessary claims. Eligible clinicians include MDs and DOs.

All memberships are governed by a one-year membership agreement.
