International Education Transforms Care Across Cultures
IFM supports leading academic healthcare organizations around the globe who strive to educate and train clinicians on the functional medicine model. These partnerships establish local expertise outside of the US, allowing patients to receive culturally competent, whole person care wherever they are.
Increasing the Global Presence and Practice of Functional Medicine
Since 2016, IFM has trained clinicians residing in over 70 countries. We partner with local and international health organizations to develop region-specific curriculum and translated educational resources that help clinicians deliver effective care. Bring functional medicine to your country!
Creating a Global Community of Like-Minded Clinicians
United by the common goal of improving patient outcomes, IFM equips collaborative care teams across the world with in-person and livestream education and training, including IFM tools and resources. Currently, we have partner organizations in Colombia, the UK, Mexico, the Philippines, and Ireland.

A key collaboration with the Academia de Medicina Funcional (AMF) provides functional medicine curriculum in the Spanish language so that clinicians in this region can access, understand, and apply tenets of functional medicine in ways that are relevant and impactful for the patients they serve.
