Join the functional medicine community in San Diego as IFM presents the 2025 AIC: Transforming Health Through Connection, Innovation, and Comprehensive Care
As health issues become increasingly complex, a systems-based approach considers the intricate interplay between physical, emotional, and environmental factors that contribute to the feed-forward loop of chronic disease. By deepening our connection to patients, communities, and the environments around us, we can unlock new possibilities for long-term healing. It’s time to move beyond symptom management, towards a truly integrated approach that embraces innovative treatments and delivers whole-person care. Additional Information
Who Should Attend AIC?
The Annual International Conference (AIC) is a space that inspires community, creativity, and positive change for healthcare providers. As functional medicine can be implemented in various clinical settings and within many scopes of practice, IFM encourages healthcare providers in all care settings to join us and discover new ways to support patient health and healing.
AIC attendees are healthcare providers who are passionate about medicine and dedicated to helping their patients and clients achieve the highest expression of health possible. This includes MD, DO, NP, PA, ND, and DC degree types as well as nursing professionals, nutritionists and dieticians, health coaches, pharmacy professionals, dentists, and other disciplines. Providers from private practice and academic medicine, student and medical residents, health institutions and health systems administrators, government agencies, and other healthcare professionals are also encouraged to attend. Patient care is a continuum—bringing together a diverse audience of healthcare providers ensures that patients receive the highest quality care at every level.
Apply to Present a Poster or Concurrent Session
We are now accepting applications for poster session presentations and concurrent speakers. Proposals should be relevant to an advanced clinical audience, not consumers or patients. Our audience is comprised primarily of MD/DO/ND/DC and ARNP degree types as well as nursing professionals, nutritionists and dieticians, health coaches, pharmacy professionals, and other disciplines. Please submit your applications no later than January 6, 2025 for concurrent speakers, and March 3, 2025 for poster sessions.
Poster sessions highlight exciting research and clinical insights from your peers. Posters will be in the form of interactive digital displays and will be available for viewing throughout the conference. Live poster presentations will take place during scheduled times and will include a Q&A opportunity with the poster authors.
Concurrent sessions explore a specific clinical topic or area of interest aligned with the conference theme. Sessions take place concurrently with other presentations after mainstage lectures. Attendees choose which sessions to watch, providing more personal audience engagement (if desired). Presentations must last for 45-minutes total including a Q&A segment. Please review the application for other requirements.
