Information for Patients
From the practitioner: About My Practice
Nutritional therapy can improve overall health and help support a range of conditions that include mood, fatigue, digestive issues, skin, menstrual and menopausal issues, aches and pains and more.
It is not a silver bullet approach but rather a process by which we seek to find and address the root cause of imbalance.
At the heart of what I do is a focus on personalised recommendations for your diet and lifestyle to help you achieve your desired goal.
By empowering you with the tools and knowledge needed to regain energy, balance and vitality, I will help you take back your own health and support you every step of the way.
From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
Before the first consultation, you will receive a health and nutrition questionnaire to complete. An initial consultation typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, and in this time I will ask detailed questions such as:
current health concerns
symptoms
diagnosis and treatment
medical history
family history
lifestyle
levels of physical activity
use of medication and supplements
diet
From this a dietary programme will be devised for you and potential supplements and functional tests may be recommended also.
Follow up consultations are generally after four weeks in order to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments. Further follow-ups may be required depending on each individual situation.
