From the practitioner: About My Practice
At ARA Integrative and Functional Medicine, we provide personalized health care to adults in the Philadelphia area. We view each patient as genetically and biochemically unique and believe that the body can protect and regulate itself with proper support. We combine up-to-date conventional medicine, genetic testing, alternative treatments, mind-body therapies, nutrigenetics, and ancient healing methods to treat each patient individually. Each customized plan is designed with the goal of achieving sustained, better health.
From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
Initial Comprehensive Evaluation
You will meet with me on your first visit for 60 minutes for a comprehensive assessment as we begin your journey to better health. This will not be the traditional 10- 15-minute visit at a conventional doctor’s office. Any labs you have submitted and questionnaires you have responded to will be reviewed in-depth prior to your visit. We will then take a “deeper dive” during our time together with a detailed review of your history. Expect to spend about 60 minutes for your visit. At the end of the visit, you will be provided with a diagnostic plan to start that may include :
Customized Nutritional Plan
Vitamins and Supplements
Advanced Testing
