From the practitioner: About My Practice
Rachel is a Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Certified Health coach, who works with people with a broad range of issues. Rachel also works as a clinic tutor, at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition.
Rachel uses a functional medicine approach taking into account any possible underlying factors and looks at the person as a whole, rather than a series of symptoms. She offers a personalised and proactive approach, to help you take an active role in your own health, by working in partnership with you. Her aim is to equip you with tools and knowledge to help you lead a healthier life, by considering aspects of your life such as diet, health issues, stress and lifestyle.
From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
Rachel offers a warm and friendly approach, with advice that is practical, stress-free and fits with your lifestyle. She offers one-to-one consultations in person, or via Skype or Zoom. Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a comprehensive, confidential questionnaire. During the consultation, Rachel will make a full assessment of your medical history, health concerns, diet and lifestyle factors and also discuss with you whether laboratory testing may be needed either via your GP, or privately to gain more insight. You will be provided with a personalised plan based on your specific health goals, providing you with nutritional and lifestyle advice and possibly supplementation.
