From the practitioner: About My Practice
Transform your health, Transform your life is the ethos at Michaela Newsom Nutrition, a nutritional therapy practice that specialises in supporting individuals to improve mood disorders, brain health, hormone imbalances, fatigue and chronic infections. It uses functional medicine to support individuals to feel better, think clearer and live brighter.
We work with each client for a minimum period of 3 months to enable us to get to the root cause of their symptoms and implement the diet and lifestyle changes needed to restore mental and physical balance.
A range of Functional medicine tools are used to assess and evaluate each individual client as well as functional and genetic testing.
From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
Prior to your initial consultation you will be required to complete an in-depth health questionnaire. This will be reviewed during your initial consultation along with your health history. If you have any recent test results then you will be asked provide these prior to the first consultation along with a list of any medications and supplements you are taking.
Following your initial consultation you will receive a protocol based upon your health history, health goals and discussions during the session. Follow up support and coaching is then available to help you implement the changes either weekly or fortnightly depending on the level of support you require.
