Information for Patients
From the practitioner: About My Practice
Guiding me is the notion that naming and blaming disease is less important than knowing what underlying causes, history, and environment led one to be unwell, and how we personalize treatment for each person. In private practice, this focus has served many with complex chronic disease and health optimization alike.
Through Index Health, I lead your personalized healthcare team together with nutritionists in a currently virtual platform. We use data-driven plans including advanced lab testing combined with genomics data that allow us to form an individualized plan for nutrition, exercise and movement recommendations, and targeted professional grade nutraceuticals or pharmaceuticals, if needed.
From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
My aim is to be your partner in health, my expertise serving to design a plan of care -together- that honors your unique story and reaches toward your goals. Trust me with your whole story of health, allow me to do some of the 'worrying' for you, and we can work together to find what is unanswered and care for what is unresolved. You can expect a healthy and evidence-informed mix of conventional and precision lifestyle approaches to your ailment. You can expect me to ask you if our plans make sense, and if you believe they apply to you, or we make changes until both are true for you. Along with attentiveness to your medical concerns, we may delve into psychospiritual and other -Life- aspects of your health, too. And humor helps!
