From the practitioner: About My Practice

Dr Ross consults in Integrative and Functional Medicine. She has also worked as a comprehensive rural family physician, including a tenure as Physician Lead in Emergency Medicine at Lakeridge Health Port Perry. Dr. Ross is also a clinical lecturer with the University of Toronto, and a writer.

When she’s not practicing yoga or creating homemade recipes for healing tinctures, teas and vegetarian meals, Dr. Ross spends time with her triathlete husband and their two children.

Dr Ross' passion is sharing best practices with patients — whether treatments originate in the east or in the west, are modern or rooted in ancient tradition. Dr. Ross investigates the root causes of illness and provides solutions for her patients that include optimizing nutrition, movement, and mind-body wellness for healing, illness prevention, and anti-aging.

Graduate School Education

Dr. Ross completed a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine with the University of Arizona. She obtained her MD at Flinders University School of Medicine in Adelaide, Australia and her residency in Family Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center with the University of Toronto.
