From the practitioner: About My Practice

I see patients/clients through telemedicine or at my practice at the Hearing & Health Centre, Knysna Mall, Knysna, South Africa. Free 15min introductions are offered initially to establish the patient's health goals and to discuss how functional medicine can help in achieving their personalised goals. I am passionate about the impact of trauma and chronic stress on current and long-term health and well-being. I use Heart Rate Variability control, Bio- and Neurofeedback to address imbalance in conjunction with Nutrition and Lifestyle optimisation to empower the client to achieve utmost well-being in the long term.

Through comprehensive assessments, including detailed medical history and lifestyle factors, a deeper understanding of their health status is obtained. This enables a unique treatment plan, decided on in collaboration with the patient, that addresses the specific health concerns and goals. By optimising nutrition, clients can support their body's natural healing processes, enhance energy levels, improve digestion and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. By addressing imbalances and potential risk factors before they manifest as full-blown health conditions, clients can proactively manage their health and reduce the likelihood of chronic diseases.
