From the practitioner: About My Practice
Dr. Conan Shaw has been seated at the intersection of Functional Medicine and Clinical Nutrition since 1998.

Mapping and then unraveling the "why" behind your condition is the focus of this practice.
Dr Shaw was hired as the Clinical Nutritionist for the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2014 and manages all scopes of Health and Wellness from disease management to optimization of healthy individuals.
From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
Your story, with symptoms that have no medical explanation, is exactly what this practice revolves around.
If it doesn't feel like your current health care needs are being met and you know there is something wrong, listen to your body. There are often better answers found in Functional Medicine than taking prescription medications for symptoms.
As a patient in this practice you should expect to find answers to why you are not well, once we have identified the "Why" you should fully expect a sequential map to walking toward resolution. This practice is based on open communication, respect and helping to resolve your health related concerns as a team.
