Information for Patients

Description of My Practice

Comprehensive functional medicine practice with training in advanced lab testing to provide objective directions for intervention. This is especially useful when conventional workups have been unremarkable. I do have an interest in long COVID, but see a broad range of patients with chronic disease, virtually and in person. From the practitioner: About My Practice

We recognize that the disease based approach to medical care is incomplete. We are all individuals, and our journeys through life are varied. We focus on gaining a deep understanding of each patients' experience with an in-depth history to understand how you got to where you are today. We incorporate advanced lab testing and focus on uncovering the root causes of symptoms. Then we work together to develop personalized treatment plans to help you on your journey back to health.

Our mission is to provide you with the Insight you need to reclaim control over your own wellbeing.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

I can work with patients with a range of conditions, but have focused on those listed below. If your primary concern is not on that list, it does not mean it would not respond to functional medicine approaches. In general I have found that supporting the underlying tenents of health can help patients with a fast array of concerns.
**Long COVID- particular focus after my experience treating acute COVID in the ICU
Fatigue
Healthy Aging
Chronic GI discomfort
Autoimmune disease
Brain fog
Adrenal dysfunction
Detoxification
Cognitive decline*

*Cognitive decline is a complex topic with numerous contributing factors, some of which are easier to address than others. The potential for improvement is encouraging, but it is by no means certain.
