From the practitioner: About My Practice
Dr Amina qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2006. She initially embarked on a career in surgery before transferring her skills to General Practice where she worked as a GP partner at a large practice in Yorkshire for a number of years. During this time she discovered that good healthcare is about so much more than treating a person's symptoms. Relationships, employment, home life, food, environment and past events all have an influence on current and future health.
Realising that she needed to help people on a deeper level, she has been treating patients from all walks of life using the Functional Medicine approach, while completing advanced training with the IFM.
