Go Behind the Curtain of a Successful Functional Medicine Practice
One of the biggest challenges in starting a functional medicine practice may be envisioning what success will look like once it is up and running. Unless you have had the opportunity to spend a week in the office of a successful functional medicine practice, you might not have a model to guide your practice plan, and you may not even know what questions to ask of an experienced functional medicine practitioner. One way to get such insight would be to shadow a functional medicine practitioner, but finding such a setup can be difficult.
However, there is a way to get a look inside a successful functional medicine practice and have your practice setup questions answered without even leaving your office.
There is a profound need for people to see how functional medicine is actually being practiced.” –Kara Fitzgerald, ND
IFM Educator Kara Fitzgerald, ND, has been running a successful functional medicine practice for many years, and as part of a new program, she is providing the opportunity for practitioners to see behind the curtain.
Her Functional Medicine Clinic Immersion program offers a new type of practice implementation mentorship, including access to live discussions of real patient cases, teach-ins with clinical and industry experts, and a platform to build your functional medicine community. Clinicians can choose from among several different levels of access, ranging from live mentorship and access to the practice to a video library covering all aspects of a functional medicine practice.
In the following video, Dr. Fitzgerald talks with IFM Director of Industry Strategy and Partnerships Tom Blue about her Functional Medicine Clinic Immersion program.
Dr. Fitzgerald has been practicing functional medicine for many years and is the author of Case Studies in Integrative and Functional Medicine, as well as a contributing author to Laboratory Evaluations for Integrative and Functional Medicine and the Textbook of Functional Medicine. She runs a multi-practitioner clinical care team practice in Sandy Hook, CT.
