IFMCP Application
- You must be logged in and have already completed Hormone, Bioenergetics, GI, and Environmental Health APMs to be eligible to purchase the IFMCP application.
- If you have not completed Hormone, Bioenergetics, GI, and Environmental Health APMs, you are not eligible to apply for certification at this time. Once the application process opens for the new Functional Medicine Certification Program™ we will reach out. Please fill out this interest form to be the first to be notified.
- IFM is pleased to announce the new Functional Medicine Certification Program™ that is set to launch in 2026. Prospective candidates that are currently unable to apply are encouraged to continue their functional medicine education. More Info

The IFM Certification Program (IFMCP) provides the most comprehensive training available in functional medicine. The educational materials have been developed by the leaders in the field, and IFM’s teaching faculty have a depth of experience and knowledge honed by many years of practice and their commitment to the ongoing development of core concepts, tools, and applications.
Application Materials Checklist

- A completed Certification application form
- Your resume and/or CV
- Scan or copy of your healthcare degree/diploma
- Scan or copy of your current/active healthcare practitioner’s license (see Eligibility for more information)
This application is only for candidates who have previously taken Hormone, Bioenergetics, GI, and Environmental Health APMs and are planning to test in 2025.
Application Approval Timing
Once IFM has received all the above required materials, your application will be evaluated. You will be notified via email of your acceptance status within three to four weeks.
