Kara Parker, MD

Dr. Kara Parker is a board certified family doctor and IFM Certification Program graduate who has been practicing Functional, integrative, and lifestyle medicine at Hennepin Healthcare (HCMC) with a low resource population for almost 20 years. She is the medical director of the Whittier Clinic Group Visits program, which she founded in 2015, and has presented nationally on how to create lifestyle and Functional Medicine shared medical appointments. This year, she is creating and precepting a resident-run group visit program for family medicine residents to train our next generation of family physicians on how to empower patient and community health with the group visit model.
