David Hagedorn, PhD, BCN
Dr. David Hagedorn served as a US Army Medic followed by clinical work in various private practice settings for over 30 years. His training, experience, and practice are in neuropsychology, geriatrics, applied behavior analysis, health psychology, and applied medical neuroscience. Dr. Hagedorn is board certified as an electroencephalography biofeedback practitioner with particular skill in the applications of EEG and ERPs, brain computer interface (BCI), portable peripheral biofeedback equipment, and software development. He serves as an international neuroscience and biofeedback consultant to several organizations. Dr. Hagedorn served as a teaching faculty and clinical staff member at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune and assistant professor of Military and Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences – School of Medicine. He served as chief science officer and chief executive officer at Evoke Neuroscience for 10 years and continues to serve as a medical device and neuroscience advisor to other neuromodulation and health-promoting governmental and private organizations and universities. Dr. Hagedorn is an international speaker and instructor for advanced psycho-neuro electrophysiology assessment and interventions with particular skill in the areas of traumatic brain injury, posttraumatic stress disorder, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, and neurodegenerative memory conditions. He has authored several patents and papers in the areas of brain computer interface and neuromodulation. He lectures on integrative transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), theta burst (cTBS, iTBS), direct and alternating current stimulation (tDCS, tACS), and associated electrophysiology measures and treatments.
