Bette Bischoff, MD, RD
Bette Bischoff, MD, RD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bischoff earned a medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Bischoff is also a registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her experience includes providing comprehensive dietary counseling in a multi-physician primary care setting for 13 years; developing a diabetes instructional module for physicians in the State of Florida; coaching primary care providers on important aspects of nutrition for their patients; and establishing a complementary Functional Medicine clinic for patients with chronic disease. Dr. Bischoff is a member of the American College of Physicians. Her work has appeared in publications such as Alternative Medicine Review. Additionally, Dr. Bischoff is a national speaker for academic seminars for medical doctors and registered dietitians.
